My Edge browser is presently having issue with usync.nexage.com pop-up virus. It always appears on the browser whenever I am browsing the internet. The browser is also redirected to several websites that probably initiating a download script. Dialog box will open with the following content:
From: usync.nexage.com
What do you want to do with: Mapuser?providerid=29472&userid=05AOFD (345 bytes)?I can always cancel this message but looking at the download area of Microsoft Edge, the file from usync.nexage.com is pending and waiting to be downloaded. This status will only go away if I close and re-open the browser. However, the same redirect and pop-up will initiate again when I am browsing the web. So, the whole thing is just repeating itself and I can’t live with this situation. I am looking for way to terminate usync.nexage.com virus.
The pop-up is only affecting Edge browser. I can freely surf the web with Google Chrome and Firefox without the hassles of usync.nexage.com. So, it is clear that the virus is limited only to Microsoft Edge browser.
I hope someone in this forum can help me remove usync.nexage.com pop-up. I already scan the computer with various anti-virus and anti-malware but the threat persist. I am hoping for a positive reply.
