Since I installed a download manager yesterday, my PC now keeps on showing Albireo pop-up ads. After seeing that the program I have installed is bad, I decided to remove it right away. I think I have fully removed the download manager. Nevertheless, Albireo virus is still intact on my computer.
When I am browsing the Internet, Albireo ads always shows up. Sometimes it emerges from the task bar. There are times that the ads will pop-up from the center screen. But the most annoying are full page ads by Albireo which covers the entire page of the browser.
I did some research and found that Albireo is an adware that is bundled to freeware. Maybe I have it from the download manager. Why didn’t that Albireo go away after uninstalling the download manager? Is this some kind of virus pretending to be adware?
Please help me remove Albireo. Its ads are so irritating. I have Symantec anti-virus installed but it cannot catch any adware or virus from the computer.June 16, 2016 at 12:32 am #530MFixerGuest
